Terms and conditions

Booking and Payment

We would prefer payment by bank transfer

 A reservation is finalised on receipt of 25% of the total booking fee including charges for pets and spa if more than 6 weeks before the holiday commencement. 

The balance is then due 6 weeks before holiday commencement. 

To secure your reservation within 6 weeks of holiday commencement please pay the full balance. ​

Card Machines for additional payments (food, drinks, wood) will be available on site

Cancellation 

Where the customer cancels we reserve the right to retain 25% of the total booking fee or 100% where the cancellation is within 6 weeks of the holiday.  However, we will make every endeavour to re-market and reduce the amounts retained with any net proceeds received. 

Where west Shaw Cote Cottage are forced to cancel holidays due to unforeseen circumstances then the compensation will be limited to the amounts paid by the customer.  West Shaw Cote Cottage will endeavour to give as much notice as we are able. 

Your Responsibilities 

 If you bring a dog that you keep them on a lead whilst on site, clean up and respect other people and livestock. 

You are expected to take reasonable care of the property and any accidental damage beyond reasonable wear and tear will be charged to the customer. 

Complaints procedure 

If you have a formal complaint please email contact@cherishglamping.co.uk or write to Cherish Glamping, West Shaw Cote Farm, Low Abbotside, Askrigg, Leyburn, DL8 3JH as soon as the issue has arisen and as a minimum registered as a complaint within one week.

Data & Legal 

 We will not share you data with any 3rd parties except where you have requested that we do so.

We will not hold your data or market to you with further offer except where you are connected with us on Social Media. 

Legal cases will be subject to English Law with an expectation that mutual agreements and mutually contributed arbitration will be used in preference to court hearings.
