There's a wealth of small producers in the dales many of which run courses to help you develop your skills from cookery to photography, felting, jewellery making and artisan cheese making courses, here a few of the courses on offer.

Situated at the top of Wensleydale in the picturesque Market Town of Hawes, our kitchen offers a warm welcome and an opportunity to enjoy cooking with old friends or to make new ones.
Inspired Chocolate
Based near Leyburn in the Yorkshire Dales, Inspired Chocolate make high-quality artisanal chocolates in our purpose built Chocolate Factory. We use fine Belgian couverture assuring premium quality palm oil free chocolate and ethical sourcing, then fuse it with Yorkshire craftsmanship to produce beautiful and delicious chocolates. These are not chocolates you will find in the supermarket. We are a family business with core values of quality, customer service, ethical practices and environmental responsibility.
Throughout the year they run various chocolate themed workshops and classes
Chocolate Pizza or Lolly Making - £8 per person, approx. 30 mins. Suitable for all ages.
Model Sheep & Pig Making - £10 per person, approx. 30 mins. Suitable for 8 years and over.
Truffle Making Class - £14 per person, minimum of 2 people, approx. 1 hr. Suitable for adults.
These classes do not need to be booked in advance but can become very popular during holidays and weekends.
We also hold premium truffle classes priced at £25 per person,, minimum 2 people which does need to be booked in advance, approx. 1.5hrs. In this class total of 8 truffles will be made with a fresh ganache, flavours to choose from and toppings to decorate plus a glass of prosecco to enjoy in the class.
